The Strasburg Museum is located at 440 East King Street in Strasburg, Virginia. It is open from May 1st to October 31st daily from 10:00AM - 4:00PM. The phone number is 540-465-3175.

The Strasburg Museum building was constructed circa 1890-91 as a Steam Pottery. It became a depot for Southern Railway in 1913 and was used as a depot until the early 1960s. It was eventually converted and opened as a museum in July 1970.

Mr. Calvin Sonner developed a wonderful site about the Museum and it's historical impact on the community of Strasburg. He has graciously consented to the use of material from his site(s) for the developemnt of this Museum site.
